1. Download the
StepMania mobile app from Google Play.
2. Open StepMania. The app will automatically request access to body sensors and physical activity—make sure to grant permission!
3. Return to StepMania and tap "Confirm in Telegram". This will open a bot that verifies step synchronization and suggests opening the StepMania mini-app.
Important: Steps will only be recorded after synchronization is enabled. Past steps, taken before granting permissions, will not appear in StepMania.
4. Open the mini-app and check if new steps are being recorded. Now, your physical activity data will be transferred directly to StepMania from your phone's sensors.
Note: Direct synchronization does not support fitness bands or smartwatches—only your phone's built-in step counter is used.
5. If steps do not appear, install Google Fit from
Google Play—this can sometimes activate your phone's sensors. Walk for 20–30 seconds, then check if steps appear in Google Fit and StepMania.
